حَدِيثُ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَائِذٍ (١)، • ١٦٧١٥ - قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ: حَدَّثَنِي سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، مِنْ كِتَابِهِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمُؤَدِّبُ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَائِذٍ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَخْطُبُ (٢) عَلَى نَاقَةٍ خَرْمَاءَ، وَعَبْدٌ حَبَشِيٌّ مُمْسِكٌ بِخِطَامِهَا " (٣)، ، وَهَلَكَ قَيْسٌ أَيَّامَ الْمُخْتَارِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Qais bin ‘Aidh that I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) delivering a sermon on a she-camel whose ear was pierced, and an Abyssinian was holding its rein. It should be noted that Qais passed away during the days of trial under Mukhtar.
