حَدِيثُ مِسْوَرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ (١)، • ١٦٦٩٢ - قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ: حَدَّثَنِي سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ كَثِيرٍ الْكَاهِلِيِّ، عَنْ مِسْوَرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْأَسَدِيِّ، قَالَ: صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَتَرَكَ آيَةً، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ (٢) : يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، تَرَكْتَ آيَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا، قَالَ: " فَهَلَّا ذَكَّرْتَنِيهَا " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Miswar bin Yazid that once the Prophet (ﷺ) led a loud prayer and left out a verse in it. After the prayer, a man said: O Messenger of Allah! You left out such and such verse. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Why did you not remind me?
