حَدِيثُ يَحْيَى بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ أُمِّهِ، ١٦٦٤٩ - حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الحُصَيْنِ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ يَقُولُ: " يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، اتَّقُوا اللهَ (١) وَاسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا، وَإِنْ أُمِّرَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَبْدٌ حَبَشِيٌّ مُجَدَّعٌ مَا أَقَامَ فِيكُمْ كِتَابَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Yahya bin Husain narrates from his grandmother that I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying in the sermon of Hajjatul Wada: O people! Fear Allah. Even if a slave is appointed as your leader who leads you according to the Book of Allah, then listen to him and obey him.
