حَدِيثُ مَنْ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ١٦٦٢٢ - حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْرِيُّ مُحَمَّدُ (١) بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَمَرَ بِرَجْمِ رَجُلٍ بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ فَلَمَّا وَجَدَ مَسَّ الْحِجَارَةِ خَرَجَ فَهَرَبَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " فَهَلَّا تَرَكْتُمُوهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from a companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) gave the order regarding a man that he should be stoned between Mecca and Medina. When stones struck him, he began to run away. When the Prophet (ﷺ) learned of this, he said, "Why did you not let him go?"
