قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حُمْرَانَ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ، عَنْ فُلَانِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ (١) الْأَنْصَارِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ أَخَاكُمُ النَّجَاشِيَّ قَدْ مَاتَ فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from so-and-so bin Jariyah Al-Ansari that the Prophet (ﷺ) informed (the people) saying: "Your brother Najashi has passed away, so perform his funeral prayer."
