حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ خَلَّادٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ أَخَافَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ أَخَافَهُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ، لَا يَقْبَلُ اللهُ مِنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ صَرْفًا وَلَا عَدْلًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Saib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever unjustly frightens the people of Madinah, Allah will impose fear upon him. Upon him will be the curse of Allah, His angels, and all mankind, and on the Day of Resurrection, Allah will not accept any obligatory or voluntary act from him.
