حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا إِيَاسُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ، وَأَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ قَالَ: (٣) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي إِيَاسُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: " كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْجُمُعَةَ ثُمَّ نَرْجِعُ وَمَا لِلْحِيطَانِ فَيْءٌ يُسْتَظَلُّ بِهِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that we used to perform the Friday prayer with the Prophet (ﷺ), then we would return at such a time that we could not find even so much shade in the gardens that a person could benefit from it.
