حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " ثَلَاثٌ حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ: الْغُسْلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَالسِّوَاكُ، وَيَمَسُّ مِنْ طِيبٍ إِنْ وَجَدَ " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from an Ansari companion that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Every Muslim has three duties on Friday: to perform ghusl, to use the miswak, and to apply perfume, provided he has it.
