قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: مَالِكٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي الدِّيلِ يُقَالُ لَهُ: بُسْرُ بْنُ مِحْجَنٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ مِحْجَنٍ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ فِي مَجْلِسٍ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأُذِّنَ، ، بِالصَّلَاةِ، فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ رَجَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمِحْجَنٌ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ مَعَ النَّاسِ، أَلَسْتَ بِرَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ؟ "، قَالَ: بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَلَكِنِّي كُنْتُ قَدْ صَلَّيْتُ فِي أَهْلِي، فَقَالَ لَهُ: " إِذَا جِئْتَ فَصَلِّ مَعَ النَّاسِ وَإِنْ كُنْتَ قَدْ صَلَّيْتَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Mihjan that once I was present in the service of the Prophet (ﷺ). The prayer was established, so I sat to one side. When the prayer was finished, the Prophet (ﷺ) said to me: "Are you not a Muslim?" I replied: "Why not?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Then why did you not pray with the people?" I replied: "I had already performed the prayer at home." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Even if you have performed the prayer at home, still join the people in prayer."
