Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا تَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلَا صُورَةٌ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Talha that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The angels of mercy do not enter a house in which there is a dog or pictures.
