Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عُتَيْبَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْعُرَنِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: لَمَّا حَدَّثَنِي بِهِ الْحَكَمُ لَمْ أُنْكِرْهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Sa"eed bin Zaid, from the Prophet (ﷺ) ..Shu"bah said:
When al-Hakam narrated it to me, l recognized it from the hadeeth of "Abdul-Malik, and I did not find it strange because of the hadeeth of "Abdul-Malik.
