Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا تَدْخُلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ صُورَةٌ وَلَا كَلْبٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Talha that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The angels of mercy do not enter a house in which there is a dog or pictures.
