Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَجْزَةَ السَّعْدِيِّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: دَعَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِطَعَامٍ يَأْكُلُهُ فَقَالَ: " ادْنُ فَسَمِّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، وَكُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ، وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيكَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umar bin Abi Salamah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said to me: "Dear son, come close, mention the name of Allah, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is in front of you."
