حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ (٣) عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الْمُقْعَدِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: قُرِّبَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَعَامٌ،، ، فَقَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ: " اذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللهِ، وَلْيَأْكُلْ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مِمَّا يَلِيهِ " (١) ، إِذَا قَالَ ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَذَكَرَ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ يَدُلُّ عَلَى صِدْقِهِ (٢) قَالَ:،
Translation
English translation
Hassan ibn Musa narrated to us, he said: Ibn Lahi‘ah narrated to us, Abu al-Aswad narrated to us, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Sa‘d al-Muqa‘ad, from ‘Umar ibn Abi Salamah, who said: Food was brought near to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said to his companions: "Mention the name of Allah, and let each person eat from what is in front of him." ‘Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: My father said: If Ibn Ishaq says "and he mentioned," he did not hear it; this indicates his truthfulness.
