Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَسُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ يَصُومُ الدَّهْرَ قَالَ: " لَا صَامَ وَلَا أَفْطَرَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abdullah that the Prophet (ﷺ) was asked about fasting every day of the year. He replied: Such a person neither truly fasts nor truly breaks the fast.
