حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ، عَنِ الرَّبَابِ بِنْتِ صُلَيْعٍ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الصَّدَقَةُ، ، عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَهِيَ عَلَى ذِي الْقَرَابَةِ اثْنَتَانِ: صِلَةٌ، وَصَدَقَةٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Salman that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Spending on a poor person is a single charity, and giving charity to close relatives has a double reward—one for charity and the other for maintaining family ties.
