حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَمْعَةَ، وَعَظَهُمْ فِي النِّسَاءِ، وَقَالَ: " عَلَامَ يَضْرِبُ أَحَدُكُمْ امْرَأَتَهُ ضَرْبَ الْعَبْدِ، ثُمَّ يُضَاجِعُهَا مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Zam’ah that I once heard the Prophet (ﷺ) mentioning women and advising regarding them, saying: How can any one of you beat his wife, when it is possible that at the end of the same day or the end of the night he will have intercourse with her?
