حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ أَوْسٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ، لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ وَلَا الظَّعْنَ، قَالَ: " حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ، ، وَاعْتَمِرْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Razin that once I presented myself before the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: My father has become extremely old and weak, he does not have the strength for Hajj or Umrah, nor does he have any desire for women. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Then you perform Hajj and Umrah on his behalf.
