حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ أَبِي (١) مَسْلَمَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ الْعَزِيزِ (٢) بْنَ أَسِيدٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ؟ فَقَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
A man asked Abdullah bin Zubair to give a verdict regarding the nabidh (fermented drink) of a pitcher. He replied that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade it.
