حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ (١) ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَنَّ رَجُلًا حَلَفَ بِاللهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ كَاذِبًا، فَغَفَرَ لَهُ " (٢) قَالَ: شُعْبَةُ: مِنْ قَبْلِ التَّوْحِيدِ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Zubair that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: A man swore a false oath with these words: "By Allah, besides whom there is no deity." So, by the blessing of reciting this word of Tawheed, all his sins are forgiven.
