حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ وَحْشِيِّ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّا نَأْكُلُ وَمَا (١) نَشْبَعُ، قَالَ: " فَلَعَلَّكُمْ (٢) تَأْكُلُونَ مُفْتَرِقِينَ (٣) ، اجْتَمِعُوا عَلَى طَعَامِكُمْ، وَاذْكُرُوا، ، اسْمَ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ يُبَارَكْ لَكُمْ فِيهِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Wahshi bin Harb that a person submitted in the court of the Messenger: "We eat food but do not feel satisfied." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Perhaps you eat separately. Eat together and mention the name of Allah when you eat, there will be blessing in it."
