حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، وَيَزِيدُ، قَالَ: ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ خَالَدٍ (١) ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ: " ذَكَرَ طَبِيبٌ الدَّوَاءَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَذَكَرَ الضُّفْدَعَ تَكُونُ فِي الدَّوَاءِ، فَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قَتْلِهَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Uthman that once a physician mentioned a medicine before the Prophet (ﷺ) and said that they would include parts of a frog in it, so the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade killing the frog.
