حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْغَسِيلِ، عَنْ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ، أَوْ (١) حَمْزَةَ بْنِ أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: لَمَّا الْتَقَيْنَا نَحْنُ وَالْقَوْمُ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَنَا: " إِذَا كَثَبُوكُمْ (٢) - يَعْنِي غَشُوكُمْ - فَارْمُوهُمْ بِالنَّبْلِ - وَأُرَاهُ قَالَ -: وَاسْتَبْقُوا نَبْلَكُمْ " (٣)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Usaid that the Prophet (ﷺ) said to us on the day when we confronted our enemy in the field of Badr: "When they attack you, shower them with arrows." He also probably said: "Outstrip them with your fruits."
