English translation
It is narrated from Shaddad bin Had that once the Prophet (ﷺ) came out for one of the prayers, either Zuhr or Asr, carrying either Imam Hasan or Imam Husayn. He advanced and seated the child to one side, then pronounced the takbir and began the prayer. When he went into prostration, he prolonged it greatly. I raised my head in between and saw that the child was riding on the back of the Prophet (ﷺ) while he was in prostration. Seeing this, I returned to prostration. When the Prophet (ﷺ) finished the prayer, the people said: O Messenger of Allah! Today you made the prostration in this prayer very long. We thought perhaps some incident had occurred or revelation was being sent down to you. The Prophet (ﷺ) replied: Nothing of the sort happened, but my son mounted on my back, and I did not wish to hurry him until he had fulfilled his desire.
