Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا الطَّالْقَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا " وَهَكَذَا يَعْنِي: تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Sa"d bin Abi Waqqas said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The Hour will not begin until some people emerge who will eat with their tongues (words) as cattle eat with their tongues."
