Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Sabrah bin Abi Fakih that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: Satan sits on the various paths to mislead the son of Adam. First, he sits on the path of Islam and says to him, "Will you accept Islam and abandon your own and your forefathers' religion?" He disobeys Satan and accepts Islam. Then Satan sits on the path of migration and says to him, "Will you migrate and leave your land and sky?" The example of the emigrant is like a horse in its length. He disobeys Satan and migrates. Then Satan sits on the path of jihad and says to him, "There is danger to your life and wealth in this. If you participate in the battle, you will be killed, someone else will marry your wife, and your wealth will be distributed." But he disobeys Satan and goes out for jihad. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever does these deeds and dies, it is Allah's responsibility to admit him to Paradise. If he is martyred, or drowns in the sea, or dies by falling from an animal, even then it is Allah's responsibility to admit him to Paradise.
