English translation

An elderly man from Banu Tamim narrated from his father that during the blessed era of Uthman, he met the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! Write for me a document stating that I should not be held accountable for someone else's crime. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: This ruling is for you and for every Muslim.
