حَدِيثُ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَلَمَةَ (١) ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ١٥٩٠٢ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ،، ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَلِمَةَ، قَالَ: كَانَ تَأْتِينَا الرُّكْبَانُ مِنْ قِبَلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَنَسْتَقْرِئُهُمْ، فَيُحَدِّثُونَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لِيَؤُمَّكُمْ أَكْثَرُكُمْ قُرْآنًا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
Amr bin Salamah says that some riders used to come to us from the Prophet (ﷺ), we would learn the Qur'an from them, and they would narrate this hadith to us: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The one among you who knows the most Qur'an should lead your prayer.
