حَدِيثُ مَالِكِ بْنِ نَضْلَةَ أَبُو (١) أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، ١٥٨٨٧ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ الْجُشَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: رَآنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَيَّ أَطْمَارٌ، فَقَالَ: " هَلْ لَكَ مَالٌ؟ " قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: " مِنْ أَيِّ الْمَالِ؟ " قُلْتُ: مِنْ كُلِّ الْمَالِ، قَدْ آتَانِي اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنَ الشَّاءِ، وَالْإِبِلِ، قَالَ: " فَلْتُرَ نِعَمُ اللهِ، وَكَرَامَتُهُ عَلَيْكَ " فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Malik bin Nadlah that once the Prophet (ﷺ) saw me in a disheveled state and asked: "Do you have any wealth?" I replied: "Yes." The Prophet (ﷺ) asked: "What kind of wealth?" I replied: "Allah has granted me all kinds of wealth, such as goats and camels, etc." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Then the effects of Allah's blessings and honor should be visible on you."
