حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، وَحَجَّاجٌ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا يُجْلَدُ (١) فَوْقَ عَشْرِ جَلَدَاتٍ، إِلَّا فِي حَدٍّ مِنْ حُدُودِ اللهِ تَعَالَى " (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Burdah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: In any punishment other than the limits set by Allah, do not strike more than ten lashes.
