حَدِيثُ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ نِيَارٍ (١)، ١٥٨٣٠ - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ نِيَارٍ، أَنَّهُ ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَذْبَحَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُعِيدَ " قَالَ: إِنِّي لَا أَجِدُ إِلَّا جَذَعَةً " فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَذْبَحَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Burdah that once he performed the sacrifice before the Prophet (ﷺ) had done so. The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered him to sacrifice again. He said, "Now I have only a six-month-old lamb." The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered him to slaughter that one.
