حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا، مِنْ بَنِي حَارِثَةَ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ رَافِعَ بْنَ خَدِيجٍ حَدَّثَهُمْ، أَنَّهُمْ خَرَجُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ، قَالَ: فَلَمَّا نَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلْغَدَاءِ قَالَ: عَلَّقَ كُلُّ رَجُلٍ بِخِطَامِ نَاقَتِهِ، ثُمَّ أَرْسَلْنَاهُنَّ (١) فِي الشَّجَرِ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ جَلَسْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: وَرِحَالُنَا عَلَى أَبَاعِرِنَا، قَالَ: فَرَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأْسَهُ، فَرَأَى أَكْسِيَةً لَنَا فِيهَا خُيُوطٌ مِنْ عِهْنٍ، ، أَحْمَرَ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَلَا أَرَى هَذِهِ الْحُمْرَةَ قَدْ عَلَتْكُمْ " قَالَ: فَقُمْنَا سِرَاعًا لِقَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى نَفَرَ بَعْضُ إِبِلِنَا فَأَخَذْنَا الْأَكْسِيَةَ فَنَزَعْنَاهَا مِنْهَا (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) that once they were on a journey with the Prophet (ﷺ). When the Prophet (ﷺ) camped for food, every man tied his camel’s rope to a tree and let them graze among the trees. Then we came and sat with the Prophet (ﷺ). Our camels had saddles fastened on them. The Prophet (ﷺ) once raised his head and saw that there were striped red woolen saddlecloths on our camels. Upon seeing this, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “I see that this red color has become your weakness.” Hearing this from the Prophet (ﷺ), we got up so quickly that some camels started running away. We grabbed their saddlecloths and took them off.
