Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ الْعَدَوِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطئٌ " (١) وَكَانَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ يَحْتَكِرُ الزَّيْتَ (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Mu’ammar bin Abdullah that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: Only a sinner hoards (goods).
