Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umair bin Salamah that once the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by the place of Rauha, where a donkey was lying wounded. The people mentioned it to the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Leave it lying as it is until its owner comes. Only a short while had passed when a man from the tribe of Bahz came and said, "O Messenger of Allah! This is my game, do with it as you wish." The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered Siddiq Akbar, and he distributed it among the companions. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) departed from there, and when he reached 'Aqabat Athayah, he saw a deer in whose body an arrow was embedded, and it was lying crookedly in the shade of a rock. The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered one of his companions: "You stay here until all the companions have passed by."
