حَدِيثُ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ مُسَيْكٍ (١)، ١٥٧٤٢ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بَحِيرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ، سَمِعَ فَرْوَةَ بْنَ مُسَيْكٍ الْمُرَادِيَّ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ أَرْضًا عِنْدَنَا يُقَالُ لَهَا: أَرْضُ أَبْيَنَ هِيَ أَرْضُ رِيفِنَا (٢) ، وَمِيرَتِنَا، وَإِنَّهَا وَبِئَةٌ - أَوْ قَالَ: إِنَّ بِهَا وَبَاءً شَدِيدًا - فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " دَعْهَا عَنْكَ، فَإِنَّ الْقَرَفَ التَّلَفُ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Farwah bin Musayk that once I submitted in the court of Prophethood: O Messenger of Allah! We have a piece of land called Arz Bain, which is our place for crops and grain, but various calamities keep occurring there. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Leave that place, for living in a region of epidemic becomes a cause of death.
