Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Sa’ib bin Yazid that during the blessed era of the Prophet (ﷺ), there was only one muezzin appointed, who would give the adhan after the Prophet (ﷺ) sat on the pulpit, and after descending from the pulpit, he would also say the iqamah. This continued during the time of Abu Bakr as-Siddiq and Umar as well.
