Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: " خَرَجْتُ مَعَ الصِّبْيَانِ إِلَى ثَنِيَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ نَتَلَقَّى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ " وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً: " أَذْكُرُ مَقْدِمَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، لَمَّا قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ تَبُوكَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Sa’ib bin Yazid that he went out with other children towards Thaniyyatul Wada‘ to welcome the Prophet (ﷺ) on his return from the Battle of Tabuk. And in another narration, he said: I remember the Prophet (ﷺ) returning from the Battle of Tabuk.
