. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

Abdullah bin Amir says that once Amir bin Rabi’ah and Sahl bin Hunaif went out with the intention of taking a bath. They were both looking for a place to hide. Amir took off his woolen cloak from his body. My eyes fell upon them, and they had already entered the water and were bathing. Suddenly, I heard a cry from them in the water. I immediately went there and called out to them three times, but they did not answer even once. I went to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and informed him of this incident. The Prophet (ﷺ) came walking to that place and dived into the water. I still feel as if the Prophet’s (ﷺ) shin is moving before my eyes. The Prophet (ﷺ) struck his hand on his chest and said: “O Allah, remove his heat, cold, and illness.” He stood up at that moment. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “When any of you sees something in his brother that amazes him, he should pray for blessing for him, for the evil eye is real.”
