حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ مَحْمُودٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِبْلٍ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ ثَلَاثٍ، عَنْ نَقْرَةِ الْغُرَابِ، وَعَنْ افْتِرَاشِ السَّبُعِ، وَأَنْ يُوَطِّنَ الرَّجُلُ الْمُقَامَ - قَالَ عُثْمَانُ - فِي الْمَسْجِدِ كَمَا يُوَطِّنُ الْبَعِيرُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Shibl that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) forbidding three things: pecking in prostration like a crow, spreading the arms in prostration like a beast, and specifying a particular place for prayer as a camel designates its place.
