Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) that I set out with the intention of Hajj along with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I saw that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came out from the toilet, so I took a water vessel and followed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and sat down on the way. It was the blessed habit of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he used to go far away for relieving himself. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned, I said: O Messenger of Allah! Water for ablution is present. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came, poured water over his hands and washed them, then put his hands into the vessel and poured water, and wiped his head. Then he took a handful of water in his hand, poured it on the back of his feet, and rubbed it with his hand. Then he came and led us in the Zuhr prayer.
