حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، وَأَبُو النَّضْرِ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا الْعَطَّافُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ، يَقُولُ: " غَدْوَةٌ (١) فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا، وَرَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا، وَمَوْضِعُ سَوْطٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا " (٢)، •
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Going out in the way of Allah for a morning or an evening is better than the world and whatever is in it, and the place of a whip of any person in Paradise is better than the world and whatever is in it.
