حَدِيثُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ جَاهِمَةَ السَّلَمِيِّ، ١٥٥٣٨ - حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ جَاهِمَةَ، أَنَّ جَاهِمَةَ (١) جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرَدْتُ الْغَزْوَ وَجِئْتُكَ أَسْتَشِيرُكَ. فَقَالَ: " هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ أُمٍّ؟ " قَالَ: نَعَمْ. فَقَالَ: " الْزَمْهَا فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ عِنْدَ رِجْلِهَا "، ثُمَّ الثَّانِيَةَ، ثُمَّ الثَّالِثَةَ فِي مَقَاعِدَ شَتَّى كَمِثْلِ (٢) هَذَا الْقَوْلِ (٣)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Muawiyah bin Jahmah that once Jahmah came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I want to participate in jihad and have come to you for advice." The Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "Is your mother alive?" He replied, "Yes." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Then keep her service obligatory upon yourself, for Paradise is beneath her feet." The Prophet (ﷺ) said this a second time, a third time, and even several times.
