وَقَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ التُّجَّارَ هُمُ الْفُجَّارُ " قَالَ: قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَوَلَيْسَ قَدْ أَحَلَّ اللهُ الْبَيْعَ؟ قَالَ: " بَلَى، وَلَكِنَّهُمْ يُحَدِّثُونَ فَيَكْذِبُونَ، وَيَحْلِفُونَ، (١) وَيَأْثَمُونَ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

And the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Most traders are sinful and wicked. Someone asked: O Messenger of Allah! Has Allah not declared trade to be lawful? He said: Why not, but these people, when they speak, they lie, and when they swear oaths, they become sinful.
