حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجُعْفِيُّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، وَمُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْيَسَرِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ أَنْظَرَ مُعْسِرًا، أَوْ وَضَعَ (١) عَنْهُ، أَظَلَّهُ اللهُ فِي ظِلِّهِ - قَالَ: قَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ - يَوْمَ لَا ظِلَّ إِلَّا ظِلُّهُ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Al-Yasar that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Whoever grants respite to a destitute debtor or forgives his debt, Allah Almighty will grant him a place in His shade.
