حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَابِسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ١٥٤٤٨ - حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ (١) بْنُ قَاسِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ يَعْنِي شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَابِسٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَا ابْنَ عَابِسٍ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكَ بِأَفْضَلِ مَا تَعَوَّذَ َمِنْهُ الْمُتَعَوِّذُونَ؟ " قُلْتُ: بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَالَ: " قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ، وَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Abis that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to me: O Ibn Abis, shall I not tell you about the best words of seeking refuge with which those who seek refuge do so? I said: O Messenger of Allah! Certainly. He said: They are two surahs—Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Naas.
