حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبَّادٌ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ الطَّائِفِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْبَيْلَمَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَوْسٍ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ حَجَّ أَوْ اعْتَمَرَ، فَلْيَكُنْ آخِرَ عَهْدِهِ الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ " فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ: " خَرَرْتَ مِنْ يَدَيْكَ، سَمِعْتَ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثُمَّ لَمْ تُحَدِّثْنِي " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Harith bin Abdullah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever performs Hajj or Umrah of the House of Allah, his last act should be the circumambulation (Tawaf) of the House of Allah. When Umar came to know of this hadith of his, he reproached him severely and said: You heard this hadith from the Prophet (ﷺ) and yet you did not inform us.
