Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ،، ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " قِتَالُ الْمُسْلِمِ كُفْرٌ وَسِبَابُهُ فِسْقٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Muhammad bin Sa"d bin Malik, from his father, that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Fighting a Muslim is kufr (disbelief) and reviling him is fisq (evildoing)."
