حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ رَبِّهِ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ (١) بْنِ سَبْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، يُقَالُ لَهُ السَّبْرِيُّ: عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنَّهُ أَمَرَهُمْ بِالْمُتْعَةِ " قَالَ: فَخَطَبْتُ أَنَا، وَرَجُلٌ امْرَأَةً، قَالَ: " فَلَقِيتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ، فَإِذَا هُوَ يُحَرِّمُهَا أَشَدَّ التَّحْرِيمِ، وَيَقُولُ فِيهَا: أَشَدَّ الْقَوْلِ، وَيَنْهَى عَنْهَا أَشَدَّ النَّهْيِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Sabrah that the Prophet (ﷺ) permitted us to benefit from women, so I and one of my companions went out and presented ourselves to a woman. After three days, we met the Prophet (ﷺ), and he was intensely declaring its prohibition and strictly forbidding it.
