حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ يَعْنِي الدَّسْتُوَائِيَّ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، أَنَّ يُوسُفَ بْنَ مَاهَكَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَصْمَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ حَكِيمَ بْنَ حِزَامٍ أَخْبَرَهُ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي أَشْتَرِي بُيُوعًا فَمَا يَحِلُّ لِي مِنْهَا، وَمَا يُحَرَّمُ عَلَيَّ قَالَ: " فَإِذَا اشْتَرَيْتَ بَيْعًا، فَلَا تَبِعْهُ حَتَّى تَقْبِضَهُ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hakim bin Hizam that he said: O Messenger of Allah! I engage in buying and selling, what is lawful for me in it and what is unlawful? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you buy something, do not sell it further until you have taken possession of it.
