حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " قِتَالُ المسلم كُفْرٌ وَسِبَابُهُ فُسُوقٌ، وَلا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يَهْجُرَ أَخَاهُ فَوْقَ ثَلاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Sa"d bin Abi Waqqas narrated:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Killing a believer is kufr (disbelief) and reviling him is evildoing. It is not permissible for a Muslim to shun his brother for more than three days."
